Since opening in 1999 we have received hundreds of enquiries from people in the UK and abroad looking for their ancestors from Tarbat and the surrounding area.

In the early 90s a massive recording project was undertaken to transcribe, photograph and map the memorials from 8 cemeteries in the area now known as the Fearn Peninsula. In 2006 we launched the Fearn Peninsula Graveyards website. More than 6,000 records are available to download from our online database.

Births, Deaths and Marriages for several Parishes in Easter and WesterRoss are available on Microfiche and can be viewed  in the Activity Room at the Centre from Monday to Friday.
